Meet the dental team

Brian joined Woodcroft Dental as a principal dentist in October 2012. Since graduating from the University of Birmingham in 2004, Brian has retained a keen interest in all aspects of dentistry with a particular passion for dental implantology and treating nervous patients. Amongst extensive post-graduate training, he has completed the highly regarded SAAD (Sedation Anxiety and Analgesia in Dentistry) national sedation course, the Aspire Dental Advanced Aesthetic Restorative course and obtained a certificate in dental implantology from the University of Warwick. Brian is also an accredited Invisalign provider.

Brian is renowned for his gentle manner and prides himself on clinical excellence by offering his patients all of the options that modern dentistry has to offer.

In his spare time, Brian enjoys mountain biking, travelling, and spending time with friends and his two young children.

Victoria , part of our dental team, joined Woodcroft Dental as a principal dentist in October 2012, having qualified in 2004 from the Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Dentistry in London. Since qualifying, Victoria has enjoyed working in a busy general practice and has gained extensive and valuable experience in all aspects of dentistry. Victoria attends courses and conferences regularly to update her skills and knowledge. She recently completed a year-long certified course in Restorative Dentistry in London, gaining the ability to provide excellent longevity in her work and beautiful cosmetic results. She is also an accredited provider of Botox and dermal fillers which can enhance facial aesthetics. Her ambition is to keep as many of her patients functioning with all their natural teeth into old age! She feels this is best achieved with a focus on prevention rather than cure. When Victoria is not working as a dentist, she enjoys caring for her two young children, reading and travelling.

Philip joined Woodcroft as an Associate in August 2015. He qualified with honours from King's College London School of Dentistry in 2011, gaining an overall distinction, and collecting prizes for his operative skills.

Philip's dental studies followed on from his first degree in Anatomy & Biomedical Sciences, also at King's. Since entering clinical practice Philip has gained a post-graduate Diploma in Primary Dental Care and worked in both family dental practices as well as in hospital, in Maxillofacial Surgery. Philip keeps his skills and knowledge up-to-date by attending courses and conferences, ensuring that his clinical advice and practise are always based on current research and recommendations.

Philip's clinical ethos is based on identification and prevention of the causes of dental disease, laying the foundations for dentistry which will last. Philip aims to provide treatment solutions tailored to each patient by accurate diagnosis and discussion of all available options. Philip particularly enjoys root canal treatment, oral surgery, prosthetic dentistry, and repairing front teeth with composite resin to return the smile to its original form.

Outside dentistry, Philip enjoys adventuring outdoors with his young family, and making the most of all that the Downs and the coast has to offer.

Jill graduated from The University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1995. She practiced in London whilst completing the Member of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners qualification and the Tipton Restorative course in Manchester. She has practiced in Surrey and West Sussex for the past twenty years and enjoys all aspects of family dentistry. She lives with her husband and two children and enjoys playing hockey and painting.

Charley, who is part of our professional dental team, qualified from the prestigious UCLH - Eastman Dental Hospital in London in 2007 and was awarded The Carol Chiver's Memorial Award for excellence in clinical care and patient management. She believes in delivering exceptional quality, thorough yet gentle, dental treatment. She prides herself on achieving excellent results, whilst ensuring her patients enjoy their time in her company. Charley has completed a number of post graduate courses in Advanced Non Surgical Periodontal Therapy, Restorative Dental Therapy and Tooth Whitening Techniques. She offers dental check-ups, hygiene services and all routine fillings on adults and children, in addition to a range of expert treatments for gum disease, supporting her patients to keep their teeth and gums healthy. Charley also has an added interest in treating nervous and anxious patients and patients with special needs. Outside of work she leads an active lifestyle and has two beautiful Sons who keep her on her toes!

Alisha qualified from the University of Bristol as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist in 2022, she is an advocate of pain free dentistry and helping nervous patients gain more confidence in the dental chair.

Sarah has worked at Woodcroft Dental as our head receptionist for many years and is well liked by both patients and staff. She provides excellent customer service and is a well-recognised face within the town.
Her role includes administrative tasks, ensuring the reception desk flows smoothly as well as cheerfully greeting our patients to help them feel welcome and relaxed.
She enjoys being a central part of our team and while outside of the practice, will spend her time gardening, going for walks and reading with the occasional glass of prosecco!

Chloe joined our reception team in 2019, bringing her exceptional organisation skills to the team. She has since undertaken the additional role of decontamination technician where her attention to detail has been an asset to the practice. She particularly enjoys meeting a variety of people throughout the week and rising to the challenges that the job brings to her daily.
When she is not at work Chloe spends her time in town, going out to restaurants, the cinema and fitting in plenty of shopping!

Mollie began as a trainee nurse in 2016 and obtained her National Diploma in Dental Nursing in 2020, she joined our practice at the beginning of 2021.
Mollie is a well-liked member of the staff, she particularly enjoys assisting with complex restorative cases and working in the Invisalign clinic as she loves seeing the hard work of the staff and patients pay off, seeing the end result and the effect that that has for our patients. Outside of work she loves spending time with her dogs and her family.

Nicola started work at Woodcroft as a trainee Dental Nurse and qualified in August 2021. She joined the team in 2018 and has quickly come up to speed working within each of the clinics of the practice.
Nicola particularly enjoys nursing for the implant clinic and aims to obtain further qualifications in this area once she has completed her nursing NVQ.
In her home life she enjoys spending time with her family and is also an excellent baker - often bringing in sweet treats for the team.

Tracey has been a Dental Nurse since 2011 and a patient of the practice for over 40 years. She joined our practice in 2018 and has been a vibrant member of the team since.
She enjoys the variety that the job brings (including the technical aspects). In particular, she enjoys interacting with patients and having a key role at helping our patients in their journey through the practice.
Tracey has a keen interest in running, sometimes competitively! She will also often take part in local runs to raise money for charity.

Cati has been a dental nurse since 2014, and she obtained her National Diploma in Dental Nursing in 2016. Before joining our dental team as a nurse in 2021, Cati worked in many NHS clinics and dental agency teams. Cati brings her welcome energy and enthusiasm to our busy surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys reading books, watching films and spending time with her husband.

Clair qualified in 2005, and after some time out of dental nursing whilst raising her two daughters, she returned and furthered her career in dental nursing, implants and oral sedation. When Clair isn't working, you will find her walking her beloved golden retriever George, playing stoolball and enjoying family life.
